Tranquillity and adventure await you at The Fritton Arms campsite

Join us from 1st May when we will be opening our camping site at The Fritton Arms. Overlooking the lake and with the lovely Fritton Church as the backdrop there really is no finer place to pitch up, relax and enjoy the area.

Make the Fritton Arms part of your great local day out - there are lovely walks along the banks of Fritton Lake, an adventure playground and in summer plenty of activity on the lake itself.

If you like to get active, our activities include tree climbing, trail running, mountain biking, open water swimming, stand up paddle boards, kayaking, rowing, lovely walks, guided bike rides and walks to the hall & Dukes Head.

Small children love our dairy cow Maggie Moo and her milking demonstrations - and raw milkshakes! We have new wildlife activities coming such as pond dipping too.

The campsite is set within the 5000 acres of the Somerleyton Estate where you can enjoy a spot of afternoon tea in the gardens after visiting the hall.

Take a walk around the lake and refuel with some home cooked comforts at our fine dining pub The Fritton Arms, just a stone's throw from the campsite. Guests can also visit our sister pub, The Duke's Head, in Somerleyton village after a woodland walk. Toilets and showers are available near the camping field.

Here’s what some of our previous guest have had to say about their Fritton Arms campsite experience:
