We have a new space available for hire! This barn by the Duke’s Head has been refurbished in order to host Club Uniquity in style. For the uninitiated Club Uniquity
is our popular, regular night of live local acts and performers, happening every three weeks. The new cabaret-style venue is now available for hire for private parties. It
can host up to ninety people and has a bar and stage. We can also provide a private Club Uniquity night if requested.

About the pub
The Duke’s Head pub in Slug’s Lane overlooks the river Waveney and its restaurant is rated for a flavoursome seasonal menu created by Head Chef Ryan Bolt. Market-fresh fish, game in season and well-chosen meat dishes feature on the menu and the ingredients are always fresh and sourced, where possible, from the Somerletyon Estate’s own farms.
The bar offers a number of Suffolk real ales, a good selection of beer as well as a comprehensive wine list which, weather allowing, can be enjoyed outside in the garden.

Parties, weddings, birthdays and BBQs
The Duke’s Head hosts a number of music and live events during the year and can also be used for private functions. The pub benefits from a great location by the river Waveney and is only a 10-minute drive away from Great Yarmouth. Please note we are also taking bookings for Christmas Parties for 2008, so please contact us for availability.
