Somerleyton offers an unforgettable day out with plenty of activities in and around the Estate and Fritton Lake. For adults there are picnic areas, croquet, football, rounders, nine-hole golf course, fishing, horse-riding, rowing, swimming and guided boat trips on the lake. Should you wish to venture further afield we can also organise hot air-ballooning and river boating to sea via the River Waveney.
Keep the children amused
For children there is no shortage of things to explore including an adventure playground, a maze and gardens, a Viking fort, children’s farmyard, pony treks, cycle trail and wellie walks.
Relax and unwind
The less energetic will find abundant spaces to unwind, relax and chill. There is also a charming local village and The Duke’s Head pub in Slug’s Lane rated for its food, beer and friendly atmosphere.
