About the Hotel
Fritton House is a nine-bedroom boutique hotel dating back to the 15th century and located on the edge of Fritton Lake. All bedrooms are doubles or twins with en suite bathrooms and a maximum capacity to accommodate 18 guests. They are large, individually designed, comfortable and equipped with flat screen TVs, DVDs and a wi-fi internet access. The original features of the hotel are complemented by a combination of antique and modern furnishings. All bathrooms have showers, baths and a range of complimentary organic bathroom products.
Activity Breaks
Whether you’re an artist, an adventurer or just want some much needed R&R, you’ll find what you’re looking for with a theme break at Fritton House Hotel. Choose from arange of themed activities including:
- Yoga Retreat...Classes in Pilates , Yoga, Tai Chi, Chi Ball and Reiki.
- Somerleyton Luxury Boot Camp...For all levels of fitness and ability, a three day break of sports and exercise.
Restaurant & Bar
In addition to bedrooms, the hotel has several areas in which to dine or entertain. The restaurant and bar can sit approximately 70 guests, including an area available for parties up to 20. The bar has a plasma screen TV that can be used for screening sports events and the terrace can serve a limited selection of drinks and menus.
Private Dining Room
The Private Dining Room on the ground floor can accommodate 20 for lunch and dinner or 35 for drinks.

Ideal for romantic escapes the award winning Honeymoon Lodge, often called "the tenth bedroom", offers panoramic views across Fritton Lake. Its charming woodland setting and smart interiors with a private terrace, spacious double bedroom, living room and a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom make it a truly desirable retreat for wedding couples.
With a bit of notice we can add a few special touches including putting champagne on ice, stocking your fridge and decorating the lodge with candles, flowers and petals. The Honeymoon Lodge is a short drive or 10minutes walk from Fritton House hotel.
