Fritton Lake holidays
The woodland lodges are superb holiday homes and offer a perfect get away location with an ideal base for boating, sailing, angling, bird watching, country walks and exploring the countryside.
On your doorstep
Whist remaining very private the woodland lodges are not far from facilities and attractions of Fritton Lake Country Park with its 9 hole par 3 golf course (owners of holiday lodges are granted automatic membership).
On your doorstep are also Somerleyton Hall & Gardens, The Duke's Head free house, Waveney Valley, providing easy access to the Norfolk Broads as well as Southwold and Aldeburgh on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Nearby is the historic port of Lowestoft, the pleasure beach at Great Yarmouth and charming market towns of Beccles and Bungay.

Wildlife & Nature
- Fritton lake is a two and a half mile lake surrounded by reedbeds, woodland and beautiful displays of bluebells and rhododendons.
- Other wildlife regularly seen are kingfishers, dragon flies, butterflies and many other british species.
Boats
- Rowing boats (these are included in your admission)
- 20 minute history and wildlife guided tour aboard the Bittern Boat (there is a small charge for this) £1.00 Adults and 50p for children.

Golf
- Nine hole Par 3 golf course open all year round. Ranges from shortest 75 yards to longest 190 yards
- Alternatively £3 per round in the summer after paying initial entrance fee.
- £125 Annual membership with no green fees from 1st April 09 to 31st March 2010
- £75.00 Seasonal membership with no green fees from 1st April 09 to 6th September 2009
- Putting green also available, putters can be hired from the boat shed, £3 returnable deposit per set
Fishing
Bank or boat fishing at Fritton Lake throughout the year (hired by the day or half day; likely catches include roach, perch, bream, carp and pike)
- In the summer open from 10am to 5.00pm
- In the winter open from dawn till dusk by prior arrangement
- Please note fishing equipment and bait is not supplied, but bait etc is obtainable nearby at cherry lane garden centre on 01493 488212 or www.cherry-lane.co.uk
Pony Rides
- Pony rides available most days from the stables; session times vary; please see reception for times; £2 per ride, height and weight restrictions apply.
- Heavy horse cart rides available occasionally; £2 adults, £1 children; please ask reception for more information

Disabled Access
- Wheelchairs are available please telephone to reserve.
- Grass paths to the lake and gardens are accessible but there is limited access to other parts of the park.
- Disabled toilets are adjacent to the reception and also at the stable area

The fine county capital of Norwich with its cathedral, Norman castle and modern shopping facilities are about twenty miles away.
