Terms and Conditions 2009
Payment
A non refundable 25% deposit is required to secure the booking. The balance must be paid no less than 6 weeks prior to the date of arrival. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Fritton Lake’. In the event of the balance not being paid by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and re-let the property. If re-letting cannot be arranged you will be liable for payment of the balance.
Arrival & Departure
We like to prepare the properties to a high standard of cleanliness and appreciate arrivals not before 3.30pm (unless a prior arrangement is made). We would be grateful if visitors could vacate their lodge by 10.00 am on the day of departure. Visitors who will be arriving outside of normal office hours are asked to contact the Booking Office on 01493 488 666 in order to make special arrangements for collection of their keys.
Breakages and Cleanliness
You are asked to take care of the property and its contents. We would like to point out that a hirer is legally held responsible for any damage or breakage. We would appreciate notification of breakages, to ensure the unit is fully equipped for future guests. A charge will be made for any exceptional cleaning or breakages
Lodge Capacities
Holidays are strictly limited to the numbers and names of those noted on the booking form. Any changes to the booking must be approved by the Booking Office. Maximum occupancy levels must not be exceeded.
Bed linen
All bed linen is provided in the lodges but you will need to bring your own towels and tea towels.
Cancellation
Should you have to cancel your holiday after payment of your deposit please inform us immediately by telephone and confirm in writing. Every effort will be made to re-let the
unit in which case we will be pleased to refund your deposit less expenses incurred. In the event of a cancellation being made after your full fee has been paid, a refund may be
made at the proprietor's discretion, if the cancellation is caused by death, accident or illness to any members of the party and where a medical certificate accompanies the cancellation.
If a cancellation is made for any other reason, every effort will be made to re-let the unit, and only if re-let, will consideration be given to refunding the monies. However, you
are advised to take out holiday insurance.

Whilst every endeavour is made to ensure that the particulars of our brochure and literature are correct, the proprietors cannot be held liable in respect of changes or alterations made. The proprietors and their employees and agents are relieved of any liability for accidents to visitors and any loss or damage to their property and vehicle. The proprietors reserve the right to decline accommodation and to demand the immediate withdrawal of any persons not complying with the conditions, or for any conduct detrimental to the property or the comfort of the other visitors. The proprietors reserve the right to alter prices at anytime at their absolute discretion.
