Your wedding at Somerleyton Hall, Norfolk
Somerleyton Hall is the perfect venue for any wedding day. Its lavish architecture, fine state rooms, three chapels and the formal gardens designed by Price Albert’s favourite architect John Thomas provide a perfect setting and ideal backdrop for a traditional country wedding.

The wedding ceremony can take place in three different areas of the estate – the main Hall (either in the Ballroom or the Old Dining Room), the Gardens (Loggia, a greenhouse called Winter Gardens or a marquee) or the Fritton House Barn. The Gardens and the Barn are also perfect venues for a wedding reception. (Occasionally the ceremony can also be arranged in the local church which seats 80 guests but please contact us for more details).
Fritton Barn
The Fritton Barn has attractive red brick walls and exposed beams which make it a more rustic and relaxed location for a wedding ceremony and reception. The Barn can accommodate up to 120 people for a buffet or 80 for a more formal dinner and it has a bar and plenty of room to set up a bandstand and dance floor after dinner.
