Welcome to Fritton Lake
The resort at Fritton Lake (just under 4 miles from Somerleyton Hall) is unique in East Anglia, a private holiday resort within a pioneering thousand acre re-wilding project where adventurous play, wild swimming, robust activities and great food exist in perfect harmony with a naturalistic grazing system set up to enrich the bio-diversity around Fritton Lake and the wider Somerleyton Estate.
The Fritton Arms is the club pub, with its own eclectic mix of accommodation and where owners and local members congregate to enjoy the hospitality, the honest food and less honest cocktails.
We are now closed to day members.
Due to re-development work, our play area is closed until 2019. We do still have a range of lake based activities and pony rides available this October half term. Details can be found in the Activity Guide - click the button below. To avoid disappointment please book your place in advance.
ShedRooms are luxury lodges with a difference. Available in one, two and three beds, ShedRooms feature generous, high-spec living spaces including wood burning stoves and underfloor heating, modern kitchens and stunning ensuite bathrooms, retractable full-height windows and doors for an open air feel and south-facing 40ft decked terrace.
Hill Wood Retreats
Hill Wood Retreats is a deliberately low density development with only 35 bespoke lodges, set in a light mature oak woodland facing south and east across Fritton Lake. Each property will have its own golf buggy or pair of bikes to get around the park and will feature the highest specifications, including a luxury kitchen and deck-mounted wood-fired hot tub.
We have an eclectic range of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom pre-loved retreats available for sale. They all come furnished and include a fully equipped kitchen, open plan living and dining area. There are a lovely mix of woodland, meadow and lakeside retreats currently available.
